Mt. Airy cadets soar at 2008 Maryland Wing Aerospace (Glider) Academy

07/19/2008 - During the week of July 5-12, twelve cadets from Mt. Airy Composite Squadron participated in the 2008 Maryland Wing Aerospace Academy.  Cadets Sean Barker, Joshua Bowen, Austin Cirulli, Robert Greer, Shiloh Lockard, Kevin Lohoefer, and Prithvi Mandayam were cadet basics (first-time attendees), C/CMSgt Joshua Newsome was Bravo Flight Commander, and C/SMSgt Scott Verna served as First Sergeant for the activity.  C/Lt. Col. Zach Bowen was flight line crew chief, and C/2nd Lt.
